This is a tool for equipment payback calculations.

Older spray equipment has substantial variation across the band. A typical application specification will allow a range, from low to high (i.e. 13% - 17%), of spray on the product.

Because of the outstanding uniformity of the VPLS, you can set and maintain your spray rate at the minimum acceptable range to generate significant savings.

Enter your dry weight (# per minute), the liquid application range (in percentage), and the cost of the liquid ($ / pound).

We assume that the old equipment had 1/3 of the band at the high limit. The calculation is also based on 5 day / 24 hour production duty.
