Slurry
Garlic Butter Slurry Sprayer (Click Image for High Resolution Enlargement into a new window.)Baker Boy Supply in Dickinson, ND needed a sprayer for a butter slurry on garlic toast and for an egg-wash solution on rolls. The sprayer was required to handle the high viscosity slurry that had parmesan cheese / garlic pieces suspended. The egg-wash solution was water-like, but requires USDA construction due to the eggs.

GOE designed a VPLS System with a companion feed tank to handle both applications. The butter-slurry required heating and the egg-wash solution required cooling. This system is an example of the flexibility of the VPLS Spray System.

Oil Spray
Standard VPLS Oil Sprayer (Click Image for High Resolution Enlargement into a new window.)PL Foods in Georgetown, Ontario had an application for a typical VPLS oil sprayer. They wanted an extended range for the oil spray rate from 3 to 25%, as they need flexibility for a wide range of products. By using inverter-duty motors and properly sized oil pumps, we were able to give them the range that they required and provide outstanding distribution accuracy across the 1.2 meter band. Additional system features included CIP and integral mist containment.
